Sod Zones and delivery fees

During checkout, choose the sod delivery zone closest to the area you want it delivered.  

Zone 1:  Tampa delivery fee of $28
Zone 2:  Brandon, Valrico, Lutz, and Wesley Chapel delivery fee $40
Zone 3:  Pinellas, West Pasco, Zephyrhills, Dade City, and Apollo Beach delivery fee $65
Zone 4:  Spring Hill delivery fee of $95
Zone 5: Sorry, we no longer deliver to St. Lucie, Indian River, and Martin County.
Zone 6: Miami-Dade and Broward County delivery fee $125

Items Sold by The Yard

Items sold by the yard may be picked up at the store or delivered.  Delivery requires specialized equipment.  The delivery fee is always $75 to any Tampa Bay area location.  We currently do not deliver items sold by the yard to Zone 5 (St. Lucie, Indian River, Martin County) or Zone 6 (Miami-Dade, Broward County).

Items Sold by The Bag

Items sold by the bag may be picked up at one of our two convenient Tampa locations or delivered with your sod order.  They will not be delivered by themselves

Pallet Deposit

Included in the sod price is a $5 refundable pallet deposit.  In order to receive your refund, please return the pallet to one of our two locations along with the receipt.  If you do not bring the receipt, we will not be able to refund your deposit.

Payments

At checkout, you will have a choice of using your credit card (only Visa & Mastercard accepted) or using PayPal.  Even if you do not have a PayPal account, or wish to create one, PayPal will securely process your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Bank Card payment. 

Known Issues

When sod and items sold by the yard are placed on the same order, there is no way to select the correct delivery fee for both at the same time.  As a result, when you want both sod and mulch, sand, or rock delivered to the same place at the same time, please submit two separate orders or place your order by phone at (813) 936-5081.

Sod Planted in Shady Areas

Even though St. Augustine sod is known to be more shade tolerant than other types, it still requires at least 4 to 5 hours of sunlight a day to survive.  For this reason, we do not warranty sod that is planted in shady areas.

Return Policy

Due to the fragile nature of sod grasses, all sales are final and there are no guarantees or refunds even if you follow all the care instructions on our website.  For any type of sod to survive, it requires a minimum of 4 to 5 hours of sunlight per day and must be sprayed to prevent fungus and pests such as webworms.
